Baby Dove takes first bath
A couple days ago our young dove started pecking at some "gourmet finch seed" and drinking water from a bowl. He then indicated he wanted to get into the small bowl he was drinking from. Seeing this as an indication he wanted a bath we put out a larger bowl with about an inch of water in it to see what he would do and filmed it.

Great video of the dove you rescued bathing and sunning to Mozart! Is this a young Mourning Dove? The feathers look darker than those of the Mourning Doves we have in northern California.
